from Lilongwe to the world.
Sterling founder Emmanuel Kamwenje discovered Madalitso Band while they were performing informally near a busy shopping centre in Lilongwe. Their raw talent led to professional studio recording and further collaboration that helped introduce their music to international audiences.
Published sources describe the duo's later international touring and their releases through the Swiss label Bongo Joe. Sterling's role in their early professional recording is also documented in published artist biographies.
